During the summer months, I live in dresses and it’s just not something I’m ready to get rid of quite yet as we transition into the summer to fall months.
From late August to September we (in Ontario) we’ll get anything from cool winds to hot and humid days. This inconsistency in the forecast makes it difficult to figure out what to wear that’s comfortable and appropriate for the weather! For this reason, dresses should not be undermined during these months. They’re great basics to throw on and easy to add or remove layers too in order to accommodate for the weather. Add a cropped jacket for the evening, and you’re good to go!
This dress comes in two colours; olive or black with floral print (I need to get my hands on the black one as well!). The dress comes with a layer underneath the skirt to avoid it from being sheer (seriously, such a lifesaver) making it feel well structured and thought out. The ‘peasant’ top style is comfortable on the arms; it doesn’t have the dreaded tight arms that some puff sleeves can give, and stays upright on the shoulders. It’s stretchy, comfortable, size-inclusive, and pretty much a dream ✨
